Habitat for Humanity and its volunteers and homeowner families build homes that last. We call them everlasting homes. This became the defining logo for team t-shirts. Thanks Sarkem!

EVEREST BUILD II: October 2012
A large contingent of Americans will join other Habitat for Humanity volunteers from around the world in Kathmandu, Nepal this October. It will be only a bus ride away to the building site in Dhulikhel, where the week-long home-building blitz will take place.
Although many teams have travel to Nepal each year, this week Oct 7-13, marks the second big blitz build week in this beautiful country.
EVEREST BUILD 2010, NEPAL |
On the first Everest Build in 2012, bamboo was the construction material used to build 42 houses outside of Pokara, the second largest city Nepal. At right, Nepalese children offered their “namaste” welcome to the volunteers.
